Transition Day!

Hey Guys! I haven't posted that much recently but I have something to talk about now!

As you guys might know, I'm moving to Secondary/Middle School next year and it's really different to primary so to get used to being at Secondary/Middle Secondary, we had a day called Transistion day, where we stayed with the Secondary people and also have their lessons for the whole day!
Also, sometimes we have/had a time where we go to the Secondary and talk about many things for 20 minuite, called Tutor time.

Tutor Time:

To be honest, my tutor group was kind of boring because the teacher keeps on saying something that's not realated to the Y6. Also, the teachers, tells an uninteresting stories about him like something toilets and poop! Even the people in Secondary was so bored that they played games on their phone!

Transition Day:

I think Transisition was a really good experience and It made me get excited for Secondary. We were able to walk around the campus by ourselves or with our friends and we also got timetables so we had to watch out, when our lessons were and when we had to go back to the building.

Overall, I think this was a very fun opportunity to fell like I was in Secondary.

😉😉

Assembly! iPhone, iPhone in my hand, who has the most followers in the land?

Hi guys!

Today we preformed our class assembly to the year 6 and the year4's. Me and my class had a great time performing it. Everyone kept on laughing to our jokes and I think the audience enjoyed it to!

Unlike any other class, we didn't base it on what we learnt during Y6 but we just acted out a fairy tale, but changed the story a bit so it sounds like a story from the future. For example,
"iPhone, iPhone in my hand, who has the most followers in the land."
(Guess what the original story was!)

My act was to be a really shy guy called Mic(A.K.A _______). I had really small lines but I thought it was really hard to make my voice sound a bit shy by making it quiet but I also had to make it loud enough for the audience so they can hear it.
(Guess who I was!)

The story was about a evil queen, who wanted more follower on Instagram, than his stepson, Sam Brown. The evil queen sends a German nanny(who can only say "Ja(ya)") to get Sam's phone. But the nanny fails so the evil queen goes by herself to get rid of the followers. She goes to a hut, where Sam is living and asks him to complete a survey, but before he could do anything, he noticed that it was his stepmother and his phone froze and he couldn't go on Instagram anymore, which led him to be paralyzed.
(If you want to read more, please tell me!)

Over all, I really liked the assembly, everyone had enthusiasm and didn't make a mistake.

Bye guys!

Ps.Did you get the original story and which character I was?

The Tempest! “Awake, dear heart, awake. Thou hast slept well. Awake.”

Hi guys!

Recently in school, we watched a play called 'The Tempest', by a professional actors and actresses. This was a diffrent actors to when we watched Comedy of errors, and they were more professional people.

This was a story made by William Shakespear, the same person who wrote comedy of errors. I already wrote about the comedy of errors, but this time, I will be talking about The Tempest.

First of all, if you didn't know, Tempest means storm. So now I think you kind of get what the story is about. Yes, it partly was about a storm. A magician/duke, called Prospero and his daughter Miranda, was taken away into the sea with a rotten boat by the Prospero's brother, Atonito. But luckily, Prospero landed on a island and was saved.
Years later, he saw Antonito's ship so he tried to sink the ship by making a Tempest with a help of his fairy, Ariel.
(I'll stop the story here because you have to watch or read the story yourself! It's good!)

In class, we first read a manga version. I was actually really suprised of the difference between the play and the manga. First of all, there was one character missing in the play which was a man named Gonzalo, and second of all, I thought it was good to read the manga first, because there was drawings, to make it easier to understand the story which also helped in the real play because when I remembered a phrase from the manga, I could tell what was happening.
I was also really suprised to the difference between the number of actors and the number of characters. There was 6 actors but there was 7 or 8 or more characters!

Even the story wasesn't a comedy, there was funny bits in it which I think helped, quite a lot. One reason was that we got to laugh a lot and second reason was that because when people were about to fall asleep, it woke them up(including me😳😉).

Over all I think this is a story worth watching but maybe you might have to watch a diffrent actors do it sooooo...
(Sorry, I don't care)

Bye guys!

(P.S Watch it! It's reall good. Or at least read it!)

The Break up Game!

Hi Guys!
I think on the last blog, I wrote about the Break up Game. Well, I did it!

It was a bit easier than I thought but my group couldn't solve one clue.
I think this is a good game to play, if you want to be a closer friend with someone else. You needed to be a good team and needed good teamwork.

There was 5 locks and all of them was challenging. For one of the clues, we had to go to a websites but there was some red herrings. Loads of us were tricked.

Sorry, this might be a short blog but, if you want to try this, just gets some locks and clues, then you can challenge someone!
If you want to try, have fun!

Bye!

Who's the Murder? Purple Waves?-The Westing Game and Break up Game!

Hi guys! It's been a long time since the last blog but I want to talk about two things. 1-one of my most recent book I read in my class and 2-The Break Up Game.
The Westing Game!

Although this was a really confusing book it was a really good book. It made me really think about the characters and the clues/hints.

This book is set in America and in the apartment called 'The Sunset Towers' and 'The

I would highly recommend to people are good at reading and people who likes Mystery book.

The Break Up Game!

The second thing I want to talk about is the game I'm going to play called the Break Up Game!

The game is about you, working as a team/group, trying to work out the clues for unlocking a padlock. There is a (treasure)box with 5 padlocks on. The team have to unlock all the padlock to find what's inside.

In our class, we were split up into 2 random groups. The whole point is to see which of the teams, crack it or crack it the fastest.
I think this game will be extremely hard, as we only have 30 min!

I think this will be really hard and challenging!

I SLAM therefore I AM

Hi guys! Recently I haven't posted anything but finally I have something to tell you!

Today, we debated on WWI. We got into 5 groups
The Great Britain, Russia, France, Austro-hungarian and also...umm.... the Germans. Then we gathered many facts about WWI, and turned it into an argument.
I was in The GREAT Britain's team with 4 more people. I think I did good, trying to add on to someone's point, but I could have spoken a bit more, but there was only 6min. The teachers counted the points, judging on , if we were linking onto someone's idea or if you disagree on something.

After we finished debating, some people got crazy about debating and kept on arguing.

Do you like debating?

By the way,
I SLAM THEREFORE I AM!
