War blog!

Hello! After we came back from our winter holiday, we started a unit on WWI. We went into three diffrent group and read a book, 'When we were two', 'My brother's war' and 'War horse'. My group read 'My brother's war' by a author called David Hill.

This book involves two main character called William and Edmund. They have two totally diffrent opinion on war. William says it good to go to war and Edmund thinks it is not. William sets off to war but Edmund dosen't so everyone calls him a CO*.
This book is written in a unique way. Every start of a new part there would usually be a letter from one of them then chainging into third person. Then the letter from the other person is written and again, it changes to third person.
The most interesting part was when William went out of the trenches, into No man's land*. I really liked this place because it was the main part of the book and there was lots of action happening, like when his friend collapsed etc.
The ending was excellent. It ended with a letter and I felt really emotional and touching. I also might wanted a epilogue.

This book was quite diffrent with the other books because of how it was written, as I explained already.

This was an amazing book. It was well written and well explained. It felt as if I was there! Although you needed to remember the technical word from WWI, I recommended to people age 9 and above.
Hope you enjoy it!

Welcome to another term in school!

Hello guys. I am back to another term of school. I just had three weeks of holiday! It's been a long time since the last time I wrote the blog so I'm going to start of with my winter holiday.

To be honest, my winter holiday was quite normal. I think you might be able to guess.
I started of the winter holiday with two days of swimming. I swam two hours of swimming starting from 6pm to 8pm🏊🏻. It's was quite tiring so I was glad it was only for two days.

After that, ("Well, you might be able to guess") the next week we went to ski in Niseko An'nupuri. You might know but this years snow was really bad compared to the other years. I tried skiing and snowboarding. It was only my second time in snowboarding but I've done about eight years of skiing.
When it was the time to go back, I only had one more day to rest.

That was my winter holiday! It might have been a normal holiday but at least I had fun. What was your winter holiday?

(P.S I also watched three amazing movies
Lord Of The Rings!)
