The Tempest! “Awake, dear heart, awake. Thou hast slept well. Awake.”

Hi guys!

Recently in school, we watched a play called 'The Tempest', by a professional actors and actresses. This was a diffrent actors to when we watched Comedy of errors, and they were more professional people.

This was a story made by William Shakespear, the same person who wrote comedy of errors. I already wrote about the comedy of errors, but this time, I will be talking about The Tempest.

First of all, if you didn't know, Tempest means storm. So now I think you kind of get what the story is about. Yes, it partly was about a storm. A magician/duke, called Prospero and his daughter Miranda, was taken away into the sea with a rotten boat by the Prospero's brother, Atonito. But luckily, Prospero landed on a island and was saved.
Years later, he saw Antonito's ship so he tried to sink the ship by making a Tempest with a help of his fairy, Ariel.
(I'll stop the story here because you have to watch or read the story yourself! It's good!)

In class, we first read a manga version. I was actually really suprised of the difference between the play and the manga. First of all, there was one character missing in the play which was a man named Gonzalo, and second of all, I thought it was good to read the manga first, because there was drawings, to make it easier to understand the story which also helped in the real play because when I remembered a phrase from the manga, I could tell what was happening.
I was also really suprised to the difference between the number of actors and the number of characters. There was 6 actors but there was 7 or 8 or more characters!

Even the story wasesn't a comedy, there was funny bits in it which I think helped, quite a lot. One reason was that we got to laugh a lot and second reason was that because when people were about to fall asleep, it woke them up(including meπŸ˜³πŸ˜‰).

Over all I think this is a story worth watching but maybe you might have to watch a diffrent actors do it sooooo...
(Sorry, I don't care)

Bye guys!

(P.S Watch it! It's reall good. Or at least read it!)

The Break up Game!

Hi Guys!
I think on the last blog, I wrote about the Break up Game. Well, I did it!

It was a bit easier than I thought but my group couldn't solve one clue.
I think this is a good game to play, if you want to be a closer friend with someone else. You needed to be a good team and needed good teamwork.

There was 5 locks and all of them was challenging. For one of the clues, we had to go to a websites but there was some red herrings. Loads of us were tricked.

Sorry, this might be a short blog but, if you want to try this, just gets some locks and clues, then you can challenge someone!
If you want to try, have fun!

Bye!

Who's the Murder? Purple Waves?-The Westing Game and Break up Game!

Hi guys! It's been a long time since the last blog but I want to talk about two things. 1-one of my most recent book I read in my class and 2-The Break Up Game.
The Westing Game!

Although this was a really confusing book it was a really good book. It made me really think about the characters and the clues/hints.

This book is set in America and in the apartment called 'The Sunset Towers' and 'The

I would highly recommend to people are good at reading and people who likes Mystery book.

The Break Up Game!

The second thing I want to talk about is the game I'm going to play called the Break Up Game!

The game is about you, working as a team/group, trying to work out the clues for unlocking a padlock. There is a (treasure)box with 5 padlocks on. The team have to unlock all the padlock to find what's inside.

In our class, we were split up into 2 random groups. The whole point is to see which of the teams, crack it or crack it the fastest.
I think this game will be extremely hard, as we only have 30 min!

I think this will be really hard and challenging!
